Confirmation

The Sacrament of Confirmation is one of the three sacraments of initiation (Baptism and Holy Eucharist are the other two). At Confirmation, the Holy Spirit strengthens the baptized Christian and endows her or him with gifts to enable us to carry out our mission to be Christ in the world and to continue building God’s kingdom. To be fully a member of the Catholic Church, one needs to be baptized, confirmed and receive First Communion (Eucharist).

There is a two-year process of preparation at St. Catherine's for confirmation. This journey invites the youth to grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Our goal is that our youth become further acquainted with the unconditional Love of God so that they might face the challenges of life rooted in faith and without fear.
